    MEET LALI

Holistic view and approach to symptoms and disease.

Lali Formaggia, B.Ed.,R.Ac. and Holistic Coach, has extensive training and 20 years of experience in how meridians manage emotional stress and trauma as well as Acupuncture for physical pain management.

In addition to Chinese medicine, she has completed her training with HeartMath institute for her clinical certification for stress, anxiety and self regulation as well Psycho-bio-therapy, a modality based on epigenetics. Psycho-bio-therapy is a method used to explore and to offer a view of the biological adaptations that our body does in response to emotions.

These modalities can provide the necessary resilience and ability to release trapped emotions and body memories as the origin  of symptoms and illness.

She offers treatments for physical pain and recovery as well accompanying people from an emotional perspective to find the moment where the disease settles.

Born in Argentina, she graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina with a Bachelors Degree in Education. In Canada, she graduated from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson, B.C. with a diploma in Traditional Chinese medicine after completing a four year full time program. In the recent years has completed the training with "Academy de Bio-decodage Biologique de Christian Fletche"as Psycho-bio-therapist.

Lali practices in office and online.

MODALITIES TO EXPLORE AND HEAL  THE EMOTIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL BODY:
Biological decoding "Bio-decoding"  is a health method that identifies and sort out unconscious  repressed emotions. Its foundation is based on epigenetics. It is a path towards understanding the illness and the mechanisms that promote physical and emotional healing. Its invitations is to explore how does an emotion feel in the body rather that analyze it.
Psychology and Acupuncture Therapy (PAT) emphasizes the Jingjin or sinew channels of Acupuncture as the first line of defence to outer aggressions, often retaining traumatic memories. These body memories constitute our major part of unconscious actions and beliefs. The ethereal soul known in Chinese medicine as "Hun" and corporeal soul known as "Po" are actively involved in processing the impact of events that we experience and how it will affect our health.

Ancestral Memories

The Bio-decoding view offers a paradigm on health in which illness is seen not as a problem but as a solution to a moment  where an unexpressed emotion remains. When we have these experiences, unconscious programs and belief systems are installed and we are going to live our lives through them. The body is going to use the disease as a way of telling us that there is something inside us that is not resolved. The diagnosis is very useful to know which part of the body is affected. People can continue with their medical treatments and at the same time. As Carl Jung says: "Until the unconscious becomes conscious, the unconscious will direct your life and you will call it destiny."

Belief is an action of believing in something true, plausible or possible. Beliefs are structured around values. Also, it is the verbal generalization that structures a person's experience.

A belief is linked to a context of place, time, circumstances.

Body memories of trauma viewed as an overwhelming amount of external input beyond the individual’s ability to integrate (understand).

  • Involves the instinct for survival: menace of death or serious injury; any threat to the physical or psychological integrity.

  • Individual reactions depend on constitution, temperament, conditioning and personal subjective experiences or Belief Systems.

  • Traumatic experience may involve:
Extreme sensory input (sight and sound), physical sensations (pain)
    psycho-emotional (extreme emotions, confusion, insecurity)

This approach brings an understanding on how biological, behavioral and psychological patterns are transmitted.

Epigenetics has demonstrated that memories of past traumas were transmitted from generation to generation and, they are in many cases the primary cause of our current health disorder.

Electroacupuncture

Stimulates blood, oxygen, nutrients and Qi flow to promote healing and recovery increasing the potential healing effects of standard acupuncture.

Trigger point muscular acupuncture (TPA)

Gives the individual fast results and effective treatment for muscular pain, muscular tension, muscular spasm, muscle knots, deep myofacial pain, radiating pain, chronic headaches, chronic pain syndrome.  Additionally, TPA has also proven an effective aid in the psychological treatment of post-traumatic disorders.

TPA originates from Western physical anatomy, as described by Janet Travell, M.D. in her various texts on the topic.  In developing her trigger point approach, Dr. Travell looked to find myofascial constrictions at the root of each individual’s pain and dysfunction.

A combination of these modalities may be discussed for the treatment strategy:

Laser Therapy LILT

The light  stimulation  from the laser is absorbed by your cells, which triggers physiological and biochemical reactions in the targeted tissue. These reactions include improving blood flow to the treated area, restoring the complicated balance involved in tissue healing, and enhancing cellular metabolism—changes that stimulate tissue repair and regeneration, reduce inflammation by speeding the inflammatory process and relieve pain.

Classical Meridian Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through your skin at strategic points on your body. A key component of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is most commonly used to treat pain. Increasingly, it is being used for overall wellness, including stress management.

Traditional Chinese medicine explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force — known as chi or qi (chee) — believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in your body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture practitioners believe that your energy flow will re-balance.
